The schedule, including the NBL1 National Championships, continues through the weekend with the final day on Sunday, August 31, concluding with the New Zealand Breakers against the Cairns Taipans.

NBL Blitz Schedule (AEST)
Wednesday, August 27:
- Perth Wildcats 84 def. Melbourne United 78. Game Notes: Bryce who! (Too early?). Wildcats guard Ben Henshall scored 17 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had two steals. United's Chris Goulding and Shea Ili didn't play. Perth's Dylan Windler finished with 12 points, four boards and a pair of steals, David Okwera 12 points and five boards, West Adelaide's Grand Final star Lat Mayen 10 points and three rebounds.
- Adelaide 36ers 104 def. Illawarra Hawks 83. Game Notes: 36ers Montrezl Harrell and Bryce Cotton didn't play nor did Isaac Humphries and Matt Kenyon. Isaac White and Flynn Cameron did though. 2025 NBL1 West MVP Isaac White poured in 20 points on 5-from-8 threes. Cameron added 16 points, five boards and three assists while the ever-reliable DJ Vasiljevic dropped 17.
Thursday, August 28:
- Brisbane Bullets 100 def. Sydney Kings 92. Game Notes: Brisbane's Javon Freeman-Liberty’s 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting with five rebounds and four assists. Jaylen Adams added 18 points and six assists, while Casey Prather scored 16 on 5-of-9 shooting. Callum Dalton was perfect from the field (4-of-4) for 10 points and five boards, and Sam McDaniel chipped in seven points and six rebounds. The Bullets shot efficiently, hitting 6-of-12 from three and 23-of-30 at the line. Sydney’s Tim Soares dominated with 22 points on 9-of-10 shooting, Xavier Cooks posted 12 points, nine rebounds, and three assists, and Matthew Dellavedova dished 10 assists.
- Cairns Taipans 95 lost to Tasmania JackJumpers 97. Game Notes: Tasmania's Bryce Hamilton’s 25 points on 9-of-19 shooting with four threes and seven rebounds. Josh Bannan was dominant inside with 22 points, 11 boards, and three assists on 10-of-17 shooting, while Tyger Campbell controlled tempo with 14 points, eight assists, and four steals. Will Magnay anchored the paint with nine points, nine rebounds, and three blocks. Cairns was led by Admiral Schofield’s 24 points, including 6-of-13 from deep, while Jack McVeigh added 18 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Kody Stattmann impressed with 17 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, and Marcus Lee grabbed 11 boards.
Friday, August 29:
- South East Melbourne Phoenix 101 New Zealand Breakers 109 — Game Notes: Jordan Hunter was Phoenix’s standout, scoring 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting with perfect free throws, while Malique Lewis added 15 points and 6 rebounds. Nathan Sobey contributed 13 points, 6 boards, and 5 assists, with solid support from Angus Glover, Hunter Maldonado, and Owen Foxwell (all 11 points each). For the Breakers, Izaiah Brockington powered the win with 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Sam Mennenga impressed with 20 points and 9 boards. Parker Jackson-Cartwright added 15 points and 5 assists.
- Illawarra Hawks vs Perth Wildcats — Game Notes: Illawarra's Jaquori McLaughlin had 24 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds. Tyler Harvey added 22 points with five threes, while Mason Peatling was a force inside with 21 points and 6 boards. Todd Blanchfield chipped in 14 points, and Jonah Bolden impressed with a perfect shooting night (10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks). For Perth, Dylan Windler starred with 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 steals, but lacked consistent support. David Okwera (12 points) and Elijah Pepper (11) were solid.
Saturday, August 30:
- Melbourne United vs Brisbane Bullets — 5.45pm at AIS Arena
