Myles Cherry delivered a dominant performance with 24 points and 12 rebounds as Newcastle demolished Penrith 98-63 at Penrith Valley Regional Sports Centre. Cherry was outstanding from the field, shooting an efficient 10-from-15 (66.7 per cent) while adding five steals in a complete showing. Leo O'Boyle contributed 15 points and six assists, while Ryan Beisty recorded a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Newcastle overwhelmed Penrith in every facet of the game, establishing a commanding 35-point lead at one stage. The visitors shot a solid 48.7 per cent from the field compared to Penrith's lacklustre 40.3 per cent and controlled the glass with a decisive 52-36 rebounding advantage. Brodie Schwarzer led Penrith with 13 points including three triples, while Zeke Evans and Lachlan Charlton added 11 points each in the lopsided contest.

Garric Young delivered an exceptional 24-point performance as Central Coast secured a hard-fought 76-68 victory against BA Centre of Excellence at the AIS. Young was a force throughout, shooting 10-from-18 from the field (55.6 per cent) and adding seven rebounds. Lino Manhom contributed 12 points, nine rebounds, and three blocks, while Luke Cassidy added 12 points and six assists, shooting a perfect 6-from-6 from the charity stripe.

Despite BA CoE's 53-40 rebounding advantage, including 21 offensive boards that led to 17 second-chance points, Central Coast's defense proved crucial in the victory. The visitors forced 23 turnovers and recorded 14 steals, with Thomas Akamarmoi collecting five steals to go with his 11 points and seven rebounds. Marcus Vaughns led BA CoE with 11 points and eight rebounds, while Guer Bar and Jai Faale each added 10 points in the losing effort.

Meekness Payne exploded for 25 points as Hills dominated Hornsby KuRingGai 89-70 at The Brickpit. Payne was outstanding from the field, shooting 9-from-13 (69.2 per cent) including 3-from-4 from beyond the arc. Deng Gak added a stellar 20 points and nine rebounds on an efficient 10-from-13 shooting, while Zachery Hudson contributed 16 points, eight assists, and five rebounds in a comprehensive team performance.

Hills shot an impressive 50 per cent from the field compared to Hornsby's 34.2 per cent and displayed superior ball movement with 23 assists to Hornsby's 12. After trailing early, Hills responded with a 21-0 run to take control of the game. Mohamed Kone led Hornsby with 23 points on 9-from-15 shooting including three triples, while Akil Douglas contributed 15 points and eight rebounds in the losing effort. The victory maintains Hills' strong position in the NBL1 East standings as they prepare for next week's matchup against Bankstown.
