Magic Pivec's 10-12-15 triple double still not enough

Mandurah Magic guard Mikayla Pivec finished an NBL1 West elimination final with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists, and her team lost by nine.

She was not alone. Jayda Clark scored 36 in a loss, Stacey Barr 34 in a loss, and Delanie Crawford 31 with 13 rebounds in a loss.

WOMEN'S ELIMINATION FINAL 1: Goldfields Giants 93 def Lakeside Lightning 78

Delaynie Byrne posted 28 points and 16 rebounds and Sierra Moore added 23 and 10 as Goldfields won at Evolution Mining Stadium on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Captain Rachel Pettit hit seven threes from 14 for 25 points.

Lakeside had the game's best line and lost by 15: Delanie Crawford scored 31 with 13 rebounds and seven triples. Lakeside went 12-from-45 from deep and did not miss a free throw, 12-from-12.

WOMEN'S ELIMINATION FINAL 2: Joondalup Wolves 90 def Mandurah Magic 81

Mandurah took 96 shots and made 28. They grabbed 30 offensive rebounds, 62 in total, and still lost. Pivec played all 40 minutes for her triple-double, Mia Jacobs scored 24 and Claire Jacobs 22 with four steals. Jade Gowland had 13 and 12.

For Joondalup, Suzi-Rose Deegan scored 21 with seven rebounds and five assists, and Kimberley Pierre-Louis had 16 and 10.

Maxwell Bucknell pulled 16 rebounds and blocked four shots as Perry Lakes finished with 64 rebounds at Ray Owen Sports Centre. Cameron Huefner scored 25 and Isaiah Moses 20 with seven boards and five assists. E

astern Suns shot 22-from-86, a fraction over 25 per cent. Joe Cook-Green got 14 and 11 out of it.

MEN'S ELIMINATION FINAL 2: Willetton Tigers 96 def East Perth Eagles 83

Taeshon Cherry scored 29 on 9-from-14 with five threes, and Willetton shot 55.9 per cent as a team. Damien Scott filled the sheet with 12 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, and Thomas Musumeci had seven assists and five steals.

De'Sean Parsons top-scored for East Perth with 25, five rebounds and five assists.

WOMEN'S QUALIFYING FINAL 1: Cockburn Cougars 91 def Warwick Senators 79

Jayda Clark scored 36 of Warwick's 79 points and made eight threes at 72.7 per cent. Warwick lost by 12. Cockburn shot 50.8 per cent and 60 per cent inside the arc, led 54-36 at the half and never gave it back.

Cierra Walker scored 20, Daniel Raber had 19 and 11, and Jaya Scafidi added 18.

WOMEN'S QUALIFYING FINAL 2: Rockingham Flames 86 def East Perth Eagles 84

East Perth did not miss a free throw all night, 17-from-17, and lost by two. Captain Stacey Barr played 40 minutes for 34 points and was 11-from-11 from the line. Sarah Mortensen had 15 and 13. Rockingham led 71-58 at three-quarter time and survived a 26-15 final quarter.

Stefanie Berberabe scored 21 with eight assists, and Paris Duffield came off the bench to make five threes.

MEN'S QUALIFYING FINAL 1: Joondalup Wolves 99 def Rockingham Flames 97

Joondalup turned the ball over six times in 40 minutes. They trailed 82-70 at three-quarter time, won the last quarter 29-15, and got home by two. Sharif Black scored 30 and Taylor Young 28 on 11-from-14. CJ Turnage played all 40 for 25.

Rockingham had six players in double figures and out-rebounded them 47-33.

MEN'S QUALIFYING FINAL 2: Cockburn Cougars 110 def Geraldton Buccaneers 95

Cockburn took 38 free throws to Geraldton's 28 and won the glass 45-33. Joseph Bradshaw scored 23 with 11 rebounds and four steals on 9-from-13, Rowan Mackenzie had 22 and Johny Narkle 20 with six assists.

Akeem Springs finished with 15 and 15. Matthew Norman came off the Geraldton bench and made six threes from nine for 22.

Nobody was eliminated from the qualifying finals. All four losers drop into the semi-finals, which start on Thursday, August 6.
