NBL Next Star Dash Daniels ($115,000) has “got all the tools” to take his game to the next level, his NBA star brother Dyson Daniels has declared.
Dash, 18, played 21 minutes in South East Melbourne Phoenix’s 113-105 NBL27 Blitz win against the Brisbane Bullets in Bendigo on Saturday, September 5, 2026. He had 14 points, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals to score a projected 34 SuperCoach NBL points.
Dyson, 23, was being interviewed during commentary in his home town.
“He’s looking good,” Dyson said.
“He’s worked very hard this offseason, so it’s good to see it showing up there.
“he’s just been determined. He was in Atlanta for, like, three months, working out there with Wesley Matthews for a little bit, working on his body, working on his game, working on his shot.
“Then he came into our ‘secret Boomers camp’, apparently, a couple of weeks ago, and he was just out there killing it.
“He’s got all the tools. It’s just upstairs, in his head, that he’s got to believe in himself. It’s good to see him out here doing his thing.”

Lloyd McVeigh ($58,500) is priced at the floor of the SuperCoach NBL game, and on Saturday night he was the most productive dollar on either floor, turning 10 points, six rebounds and two assists in under 16 minutes into 39.3 projected points for every $100,000 of his price.
His older brother Jack McVeigh ($349,800), almost exactly six times the money, returned 4.6. That gap is the argument for reading a value table rather than a scoreboard, and it landed on a night when Adelaide put 112 on the Taipans and South East Melbourne held off a Brisbane fightback to finish their Blitz unbeaten.
Arnas Velicka ($277,000) posted the biggest raw number, 53, off 24 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and four steals. The Phoenix lead our Blitz ladder on 11 points with their campaign complete, and the Loggins-Bruton Cup will be decided this afternoon.

- Lloyd McVeigh ($58,500) returned 39.3 projected points per $100,000. His brother Jack McVeigh ($349,800) returned 4.6 and Keanu Pinder ($300,000) returned 3.0.
- Harry Rouhliadeff ($69,000) and Ben Griscti ($69,000) are level to the cent: same price, same projected score.
- Six players priced at $69,000 or below cleared 13 projected points: Lloyd McVeigh 23, Jacob Rigoni ($69,000) 17, Keanu Rasmussen ($69,000) 15, Ben Griscti 14, Harry Rouhliadeff 14 and Kobe Williamson ($69,000) 13.
- Jonah Bolden ($133,600) scored 21 projected points in under nine minutes and misses the value table on the ten-minute minimum. At 15.7 per $100,000 he would have ranked eleventh.
- Nick Rakocevic ($188,400) had the only double-double of the night, 10 points and 13 rebounds, and the only bonus in either game. All 43 players who took the floor are in the SuperCoach game.
