Norths Bears 90 def Hornsby KuRingGai 83 — Watch the Replay

Austin Patterson delivered a stellar performance with 31 points as the Norths Bears defeated Hornsby KuRingGai 90-83 at North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre. Patterson was remarkably efficient, shooting 10-from-17 from the field including 4-from-9 from beyond the arc. Hunter Goodrick contributed a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Matthew Wacher added 19 points and six assists.

Despite Mohamed Kone's 19 points and Akil Douglas' 18 points for Hornsby, the Bears controlled the game with their superior shooting efficiency. Norths shot 45.8 percent from the field compared to Hornsby's 38.3 percent. Hornsby's Alexander Sidhu had a solid all-around game with eight points, 12 rebounds, and three steals, but the Bears' 28 free throws made (from 42 attempts) proved decisive in a contest that featured 10 lead changes.

Maxwell Clark came off the bench to score 20 points as Inner West claimed a hard-fought 92-87 victory against Hills at Hills Basketball Stadium. Clark was outstanding, shooting 8-from-15 from the field, including 4-from-7 from three-point range, while adding six rebounds. Mirko Djeric orchestrated the offence with 17 points and eight assists, while Dalen Ridgnal contributed 11 points and seven rebounds.

Hills had a balanced attack with Saxon Orsini, Liam Moss, and Zachery Hudson each scoring 15 points, but couldn't overcome Inner West's hot shooting. The visitors shot an impressive 56.25 percent from the field and 52.2 percent from three-point range, connecting on 12 triples. Inner West led for 38 minutes of the contest and established control with a 17-rebound advantage (41-27), helping them maintain their position near the top of the ladder.

Garric Young posted a dominant double-double with 24 points and 15 rebounds as Central Coast edged Maitland 98-94 in a thrilling contest at Breakers Indoor Sports Stadium. Young was efficient from the field, shooting 10-from-19, while Lino Manhom added another double-double with 14 points and a game-high 24 rebounds. Luke Cassidy contributed 16 points and eight assists for the Breakers.

Maitland was led by Mandrell Worthy's outstanding 30-point performance, including 5-from-10 from three-point range. James Hunter and Christian Little each added 11 points, but Maitland couldn't overcome Central Coast's advantage on the boards. The Breakers outrebounded Maitland 54-41 and shot 23-from-29 (79.3 percent) from the free-throw line in a game that featured 36 lead changes and 14 ties, showcasing the competitiveness of NBL1 East.

Todd Blanchfield delivered a spectacular double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds as Illawarra dominated Albury Wodonga 122-90 at The Snakepit Stadium. Matthew Mims and Christian Maran each scored 24 points, with Maran shooting an exceptional 12-from-16 from the field. Kobe McDowell-White orchestrated the Hawks' offence with a double-double of 14 points and 17 assists.

Matthew Gray led Albury Wodonga with 26 points, while Ahren Freeman and Francis Wineera-Mulvihill each contributed 17 points, but the Bandits couldn't match Illawarra's firepower. The Hawks shot 50 percent from the field, dished out 34 assists, and dominated in transition with 44 fast-break points. Illawarra's balanced attack, with six players scoring in double figures, secured their position among the league's elite teams.

Newcastle 87 def Sutherland 77 — Watch the Replay

Eylijah Stephens led the way with 24 points as Newcastle secured an 87-77 victory against Sutherland at Newcastle Basketball Stadium. Stephens was efficient, shooting 9-from-16 from the field, while Ryan Beisty contributed an impressive all-around performance with 23 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and four blocks. Leo O'Boyle added 17 points for the Hunters.

Jason Spurgin recorded a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds for Sutherland, while Luke Jamieson added 13 points and eight rebounds. Newcastle's defensive pressure was the difference, forcing 24 Sutherland turnovers while committing just seven of their own. The Hunters converted those turnovers into 12 points and were perfect from the free-throw line, making all 22 attempts in a disciplined performance.

Jaylin Galloway delivered a dominant performance with 24 points, five rebounds, and three steals as Bankstown overwhelmed Penrith 88-62 at Bankstown Basketball Stadium. Galloway shot 10-from-19 from the field, including 3-from-6 from three-point range. Andre Wolford added 13 points and six rebounds, while Dominique Keyes recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Jonah Pares led Penrith with 20 points and eight rebounds on efficient 9-from-14 shooting, but received little support as the Panthers struggled to just 28.2 percent shooting from the field. Bankstown's defence was outstanding, recording 11 blocks and 17 steals while forcing 20 turnovers. The Bruins shot 50.7 percent from the field and 40.7 percent from three-point range, building a lead that grew to as much as 28 points.

James Toohey led a balanced attack with 16 points, seven rebounds, and three steals as Canberra cruised to a 101-69 victory against Sydney at Belconnen Basketball Stadium. Toohey was perfect from three-point range, shooting 4-from-4, while William Mayfield added 15 points and Glenn Morison contributed 14 points. Derek Emelifeonwu orchestrated the offence with 12 points and six assists.

Obiri Kyei recorded a double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds for Sydney, while Anthony Mundine added 18 points. However, Sydney struggled from the field, shooting just 36.4 percent overall and 22.6 percent from three-point range. Canberra shot 50 percent from the field and a blistering 46.7 percent from beyond the arc, connecting on 14 triples. The Gunners' ball movement was exceptional, recording 26 assists while forcing 18 Sydney turnovers.
