Hannah Wickstrom leads while Lulu Twidale climbs in latest NCAAW power rankings

As the calendar ticks over to March, we all know exciting times are ahead for college basketball, and there’s Australian women all over the USA making noise.

Let’s break it all down.

AUSTRALIAN NCAAW PLAYER POWER RANKINGS

1. Hannah Wickstrom (UC Riverside) SOPHOMORE

Best Performance – 24 points, 12 rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes v Cal State Northridge

Hannah Wickstrom has risen to top five in the nation for scoring (23.6 points per game) and she was her usual dominant self against Cal State Northridge, continuing to prove herself as a three-level scorer with an abundance of offensive weapons.

It’s been a stunning sophomore season for Wickstrom and just one regular season game remains for the Highlanders in season 2025-26.

2. Lulu Twidale (California) JUNIOR

Best Performance – 25 points, five rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes v SMU

Lulu Twidale is in the best form of her life and she’s showing no signs of slowing down. Over the past four games, she’s been unstoppable, averaging 24 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game, while hitting a ridiculous 21 triples over that span.

Twidale hit seven triples in the blowout win over SMU and that marked eight of her last 14 games hitting at least four three-pointers.

Best Performance – 15 points, 12 rebounds, three steals and two assists in 28 minutes v Cal Poly

UC San Diego sit equal-first in the Big West Conference as we move into March and Erin Condron has been at the forefront of their success, leading the team in scoring (15.6 points) and rebounding (8.5).

She posted her fourth double-double in the past seven games when she led the Tritons to a big win over the Mustangs.

4. Charlise Dunn (Davidson) – SENIOR

Best Performance – 22 points and four rebounds in 26 minutes v Fordham

It was an emotional senior night for Charlise Dunn and Davidson when they hosted Saint Louis over the weekend, but once the ball was tipped, Dunn got straight to business and led the Wildcats to their fourth win in a row.

It’s been an incredible college career for Dunn, who fought all the way back from an ACL injury in her sophomore season to get herself back to being the star of the show for the Wildcats. She heads into March in great form.

5. Lara Somfai (Stanford) FRESHMAN

Best Performance – 19 points, seven rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes v SMU

Lara Somfai matched her career-high with 19 points against SMU and then followed that up a couple of days later with a performance that once again displayed her all-round game with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in a blowout win over Clemson.

It’s been an incredible, record-breaking freshman season for Somfai and the Cardinal tip off their ACC Tournament play against Miami this week.

Antoniette Emma-Nnopu was beasting on the boards against Idaho State, but it wasn’t enough as the Wildcats fell in a close one, 59-54.

Emma-Nnopu will celebrate senior night this week against Portland State, which will be the culmination of an impressive collegiate career, highlighted by her phenomenal senior season.

It’s been a tough couple of weeks for Kansas State, but Tess Heal remains the steady hand. In 13 of her past 14 games, Heal has scored in double figures and despite the loss to Iowa State, she was involved in everything on both ends of the floor.

Hilary Fuller’s sophomore season jump has been incredible to witness, and she continues to stack monster games.

Top-scoring in an important win over Indiana State, Fuller was dominant in the closing stages of the third quarter when the game was up for grabs. Hitting two big buckets and blocking a pair of shots in the closing stages of the third, Fuller helped the Bruins pull away and take control of the game.

She has been one of the most efficient shooters in the nation, hitting a ridiculous 46.3% of triples and she knocked down three long range shots on her way to 24 points against Saint Louis.

It had been a long time coming, but finally the Razorbacks broke through for their first win since late-December and Bonnie Deas put together a signature Bonnie Deas performance against Auburn.

Throwing herself at everything on defence and dishing out some nice dimes too, the win provided some well-deserved reward for effort for Deas and her teammates.
