Walking bucket Wickstrom is No1 in Power Rankings

Australian women's basketballer Hannah Wickstrom has surged to the top of basketball.com.au's NCAAW Power Rankings on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

It was another busy week for Australian women in Division I and we have plenty of movement in the rankings.

There’s a new leader at the top, while some who have been close to cracking the top 10, break in.

1. Hannah Wickstrom (UC Riverside) SOPHOMORE

Best Performance – 28 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 36 minutes v Cal State Fullerton

Hannah Wickstrom is Australia’s leading scorer (21.4 points per game) in Division I and now moves into first place in the rankings after another eye-catching week. UC Riverside have won four of their past six games and Wickstrom has been at the forefront of their success, leading the team in scoring in all six games, averaging 26.3 points over that span. She was at her efficient best against Cal State, dropping 28 points on 50% shooting from the field and 67% (4/6) from deep. She’s finding her spots and going to work.

2. Charlise Dunn (Davidson) – SENIOR

Best Performance – 13 points, three rebounds, one assist and one block in 28 minutes v Fordham

By Charlise Dunn’s lofty standards, it was a quieter week for the star senior. Still, she was instrumental in a pair of wins for Davidson as they bounced back from a triple overtime loss to Richmond last week.

For Dunn, it’s been a career-year all round and with the Wildcats sitting at 14-6 and an important 6-1 in A-10 conference play, 2026 is shaping up as an exciting one for the Dunn and Davidson.

3. Erin Condron (UC San Diego) JUNIOR

Best Performance – 21 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and two assists in 35 minutes v Cal State Bakersfield

Erin Condron’s versatility has reached new heights in her breakout junior season. She’s proving herself to be a force on both ends of the court, and as Condron goes, so do her Triton teammates. While she’s hitting shots at great efficiency, Condron is also making life difficult for opponents on the other end of the court, blocking shots and playing great defence without fouling. Winners of nine of their past 10 games, UC San Diego is unbeaten in conference play and share first place in the Big West standings with UC Irvine. She was named UC San Diego's Athlete of the Week today.

4. Mia Jacobs (Oregon) SENIOR

Best Performance – 30 points, five rebounds, two assists and one block in 42 minutes v Wisconsin

It was a herculean effort from Mia Jacobs in a double overtime heartbreaker against Wisconsin. Jacobs kept Oregon in the game, hitting clutch triples and free throws down the stretch to give the Ducks the lead late in regulation and in the first overtime, but each time the Badgers responded to tie the game. In the first overtime, Jacobs scored seven of Oregon’s 11 points, but it wasn’t to be as Wisconsin claimed a thrilling two-point win, 94-92. In the loss, Jacobs scored a season-high 30 points (6/9 3PT FG and 8/9 FT) in 42 minutes of action.

It was a career-best week for Lulu Twidale, in more ways than one! After recording a new career-high 12 assists in a triple overtime classic against Syracuse late last week, she followed that up three days later by setting a new career-high in scoring with a monster 36 points (8/15 3PT FG), plus another nine assists, in a win over Boston College. Despite results not going their way, Antoniette Emma-Nnopu continues to work extremely hard for the Wildcats. She was doing a bit of everything against Eastern Washington, finishing with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists, but her 8 turnovers were costly, and have been an issue at times throughout the season.
