East Perth Eagles strengthened their top-two position while South West Slammers delivered the biggest turnaround of the round with a 24-hour response win in the 2026 NBL1 West Women's Conference.

Stacey Barr led a five-player scoring spread with 25 points, as East Perth Eagles outlasted Warwick Senators in overtime to move to 5-1 and strengthen their top-two position.
This was the most complete game of the round – two teams trading control across four quarters before East Perth separated in overtime.
East Perth’s balance was decisive. Barr (25 points, five 3PM) carried perimeter scoring, while Sarah Mortensen added 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists in a high-usage interior role.
Brooke Malone contributed 20 points, and Sydney Wright controlled the tempo with 18 points and seven assists, giving East Perth four primary scoring options and consistent ball movement.
Warwick matched the offensive output but couldn’t close.
Chloe Forster produced a triple-threat performance with 24 points and 10 assists, while Jayda Clark added 19 points and Natalie Burton finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
The difference came in execution and efficiency.
East Perth shot 45.6% from the field and generated 29 free throw attempts, while Warwick relied on volume (90 field goal attempts) but converted at 38.9%.
In overtime, East Perth’s composure held – 16-10 in the extra period – closing a game that had swung multiple times across regulation.

Marshaun Bostic delivered a dominant 28-point, 11-rebound double-double, leading South West Slammers to a statement response win less than 24 hours after a 54-point loss.
The Slammers flipped the script immediately.
After being held to 46 points the night before, they exploded for 33 points in the opening quarter, setting the tone with aggressive scoring and early control.
Bostic controlled the game on both ends, adding five assists and five steals, while consistently attacking inside and getting to the line (8-from-12 FT).
South West’s scoring support held through all four quarters.
Cassidy Lacey-Rameka added 19 points and nine rebounds, while Briana Bailey contributed 17 points and 10-from-12 from the free throw line, helping maintain offensive pressure despite inconsistent shooting (21.4% FG).
Joondalup stayed within reach through efficiency.
They shot 47.8% from the field, with Asianae Johnson (21 points) and Awatea Leach (20 points) leading the offence.
But the difference came in possession control and physicality.
South West won the glass (50-38) and generated repeated second chances, offsetting Joondalup’s shooting advantage.
The Wolves closed the gap late, but the Slammers’ early separation and composure held through the final minutes.
