Forget NRL's 'SuperCoach God' meet the SuperGOAT

The 50 highest career SuperCoach totals in NBL history, from the league’s own season statistics. Sort by SC total for longevity or by Avg for peak: they are different arguments and the order changes a lot below the top.
SuperCoach totals only exist from 1984. The league’s own records carry no SuperCoach figure before then, because the inputs are not there: 1979 to 1981 record no rebounds or assists at all, and 1982 has no steals or blocks. Nothing here is estimated to fill that in.
The tinted rows are floors, not totals. 10 of these 50 played seasons before 1984 that carry no SuperCoach figure, so their real career numbers are higher than shown, and their averages are computed only over the seasons that do carry one. The number in brackets is how many seasons are missing: Leroy Loggins (3), James Crawford (2), Ray Borner (4), Wayne McDaniel (1), Damian Keogh (4), Michael Johnson (2), Phil Smyth (2), Larry Sengstock (5), Mike McKay (1), Chuck Harmison (2).
A different gap, and a smaller one: Chris Goulding (2006-07) and Marcus Timmons (2004-05) are missing a season from after 1984, where the league’s data is incomplete rather than the era being unrecorded.
“If priced today” is what that career average would cost in SuperCoach NBL27. The game prices at a flat $10,369 per point of average (every one of the 61 players in the launch list averaging 10 or more is charged exactly that), so an average converts straight into a price.
Andrew Gaze would be the most expensive player in the game. At $10,369 a point, that average is worth more than the $473,900 that Bryce Cotton, the dearest real player in NBL27, actually costs.
It is a conversion, not a projection. The game prices off ONE recent season; this uses a whole career. Bryce Cotton is the calibration and he is in both lists: his career average prices him at $389,123, while SuperCoach charges $473,900 for him off last season alone.
The two lists also count slightly differently: our season figures cover more games than the launch file’s for every player checked (Cotton 41 against 32), though the averages land close (45.5 against 45.7). Treat these prices as indicative rather than exact.
And you could not field them. The ten cheapest of these 50 would cost $2,168,296 against a $2,000,000 cap, so an all-time SuperCoach squad is about $168,296 over.
These totals include the double-double bonus, which the league computes from game logs, so they are the full SuperCoach figure and not just the counting stats.
A SuperCoach score is points, plus rebounds, plus two for an assist, three for a block and three for a steal, less two for a turnover, with five for a double-double and ten for a triple-double. These figures come from the league’s own database rather than being calculated here. But a scoring system built for a fantasy game is being applied to seasons played decades before it existed, which is worth saying out loud.
