For now, the G League provides runway.
Proctor controlled tempo, worked comfortably out of high pick-and-roll and punished defensive drop coverage with confident pull-up threes. Cleveland finished with 35 assists and 25 made threes, thriving off ball movement and pace.
While his NBA pathway sits behind All-Star-level and veteran guards, Proctor’s first G League outing showed scoring aggression and improved shot selection. The next step is repetition – sustaining efficiency, managing turnovers and continuing to create advantage off the dribble.
In his first professional game on assignment, Proctor didn’t defer. He dictated.
