'Glad I got it done': Dyson earns first career triple-double

- 25-1: Greatest shooting guards in NBA history
Rising Australian superstar Dyson Daniels keeps ticking off career achievements at such a young age, earning his first career triple-double to lead the Atlanta Hawks to a dominant road win over an undermanned Denver Nuggets.
Daniels - who has been a whisker away from the statistical mark several times over the past two seasons - had 17 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists as the Hawks started life without traded point guard Trae Young with a 110-87 over Denver at Ball Arena.
The 22-year-old defending NBA Most Improved Player award winner said finally reaching a triple-double was "pretty special".
"Getting a triple double's not an easy thing," Daniels said post-game.
"I'm just glad we got the win but I've been close to getting that triple-double for a few games now, so I'm glad I got it done."
A scare was put into the Hawks by a Nuggets team missing Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray among others after a disappointing 26-15 third quarter. But, led by Daniels, the visitors rebounded with a 36-12 final period to finish with a 23-point victory.
"We just got back to playing our style, started defending, started getting some stops and getting out and running," Daniels said.
"The third quarter we got a little stagnant, played a little too slow and we played into their hands, so we had a little bit of gas left in that fourth, especially with the altitude it makes it a little tougher but the guys fought."
NBA Box Score: Atlanta Hawks @ Denver Nuggets
Dyson Daniels was the star of the show as the Atlanta Hawks recorded a dominant 110-87 road win over the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena.
Daniels had a triple-double with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in one of his best games of the season.
Hawks teammate Jalen Johnson led the way in scoring with 29 points.
NBA Box Score: Oklahoma City Thunder @ Memphis Grizzlies
Jock Landale almost helped the Memphis Grizzlies pull off another upset over the defending champion OKC Thunder, recording a double-double in a 117-116 loss at the FedEx Forum.
Landale, who has starred in his role whether starting or coming off the bench for the Grizzlies, had 13 points (5-from-7 FG and 1-from-3 3PT) and 10 rebounds as well as two assists in the one-point defeat.
Jalen Williams scored 26 points for the Thunder, who were without MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
NBA Box Score: Houston Rockets @ Portland Trail Blazers
Portland closed with a dominant fourth quarter to overturn a narrow three-quarter deficit and secure a six-point home win, outscoring Houston 34–15 in the final term. The comeback was built on defensive pressure, ball movement, and decisive contributions from the bench — none more influential than Australian centre Duop Reath.
Coming off the bench, Reath delivered a sharp, high-efficiency stint that swung momentum Portland’s way. In just 11 minutes, he scored 3 points on 1-of-1 shooting, knocked down a corner three, and added 5 rebounds (2 offensive), 2 blocks, and a +13 plus/minus — the best mark on the team outside the starting unit.
Reath came up with an exceptional block on a three-point attempt.
