Australia produced a dominant 89-37 victory against Côte d'Ivoire in Group A action at Starez Arena Vodova Hall 2 in Brno, powered by a masterful double-double from Jemyma Manyok and a red-hot shooting night from beyond the arc.
Manyok anchors both ends
Jemyma Manyok was outstanding, finishing with 13 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and four blocks while shooting 4-from-5 from the field and 5-from-6 at the charity stripe. Her presence in the paint set the tone defensively and gave Australia a reliable interior anchor on offense.
The 30 efficiency rating led all players on the floor, reflecting her impact across every statistical category.
Jones catches fire from deep
Jasmine Jones delivered a stellar shooting display from downtown, drilling 5-from-7 triples on her way to 15 points, adding three rebounds and three assists. Her ability to stretch the floor helped Australia pull away and punish Côte d'Ivoire's defense from the perimeter.
Jones' efficiency was a key factor in Australia's 39.29% clip from three-point range, a solid mark that kept the scoreboard ticking over throughout the contest.
All-round effort headlines dominant showing
Australia produced a full team effort with six players reaching double figures. Sophie Richardson chipped in 12 points, while Madison Ryan was efficient with 12 points on 4-from-5 shooting, including 2-from-3 from deep and a perfect 2-of-2 from the foul line.
Olivia Olechnowicz added 10 points and dished out a team-high seven assists, running the offense with control and connecting on 4-from-6 from the field. Isabel Smith contributed eight points on 3-from-4 shooting to round out the balanced scoring effort.
Efficient shooting sets the tone
Australia was on fire from the field, converting 33-from-62 for a scorching 53.23% clip. Inside the arc, the team was even more clinical at 64.71%, overwhelming Côte d'Ivoire with high-percentage looks in the paint.
That offensive efficiency, combined with 35 assists on 33 made field goals, showcased Australia's ball movement and willingness to find the open shooter throughout the contest.
Rebounding edge closes it out
Australia dominated the boards with 45 total rebounds, including nine offensive, generating extra possessions and second-chance opportunities. Manyok's 11 boards paired with Lily Mapp's seven rebounds anchored the frontcourt effort, while Matilda Trout added six of her own.
Nine blocks and 12 steals highlighted a suffocating defensive performance that held Côte d'Ivoire to just 37 points across the entire contest.
