🇦🇺 Portland Pilots 90, Pacific Tigers 89 (OT) (Final)
Portland’s Australian duo delivered decisive, complementary performances as the Pilots edged Pacific in a dramatic overtime finish, with freshman guard Joel Foxwell driving the offense and sophomore forward James O’Donnell providing elite efficiency and interior impact.
Foxwell, who made two clutch free throws to tie the game at 72 with 1:21 to go, carried a massive workload across 43 minutes, creating offense late, stretching the floor from deep, and controlling tempo as the primary ball-handler. His shot-making in clutch moments and willingness to shoulder responsibility defined Portland’s late-game execution in a one-point win.
Alongside him, O’Donnell was ruthlessly efficient, finishing nearly everything around the rim, protecting the paint, and adding timely scoring as Portland repeatedly answered Pacific runs in the second half and overtime.
Foxwell got the assist on Matúš Hronský 23-foot three point jumper to win it for the Pilots.
