Game Flow: Cleveland broke the game open with a 41–30 third quarter
Cleveland took control after halftime, pouring in 41 points in the third quarter to turn a narrow road advantage into a decisive win. The Cavaliers shot 55 percent from the field and 47 percent from three, pairing efficient scoring with defensive pressure that forced Portland into rushed possessions and limited perimeter efficiency.
Australian guard Tyrese Proctor appeared briefly off the bench, logging three minutes late in the contest. Proctor did not score, recording one assist and one turnover, as Cleveland’s rotation tightened following the third-quarter surge.
Jarrett Allen dominated inside with 40 points and 17 rebounds on 16-of-23 shooting, anchoring Cleveland at both ends. Sam Merrill added 22 points, knocking down 6-of-8 from three, while Jaylon Tyson contributed 18 points and six assists. Portland was led by 21 points from Caleb Love and 20 from Shaedon Sharpe, but the Trail Blazers were unable to respond once Cleveland established separation.
