Highlights

Eight games in five days make Round 4 a SuperCoach NBL bonanza led by Bryce Cotton and Kendric Davis

EIGHT GAMES IN FIVE DAYS!! That's SuperCoach NBL Beat the Coach dynamite!

Even more explosive is Adelaide 36ers scoring machine Bryce Cotton suiting up twice against Tasmania on Thursday and the Sydney Kings on Saturday in a home and home double header.

Cotton, 33, is worth $452,500 while averaging 53.5 points in his first two games. Coaches who don't have Cotton with the (C) selected will struggle big time.

He's not the only Fantasy star playing twice. Sydney Kings guard Kendric Davis is also getting two shots at it, first against Melbourne United on Wednesday and then the 36ers in what will be a very tasty return to Adelaide for the All-NBL First Team member.

What the data says

  • Stack Adelaide (ADL) and Sydney (SYD) players — both teams have double games and elite guard options in Bryce Cotton and Kendric Davis.
  • Use one New Zealand Breakers (NZL) value anchor such as Sam Mennenga to balance the salary cap and provide scoring upside.
  • Avoid Perth (PER) and Cairns (CNS) players this round — even though JaVale McGee, Jo Lual-Acuil Jr, and Dylan Windler are in strong form, they each play only once.

Strategic Takeaways

  • Stack ADL + SYD: two double-game contenders with elite guards (Cotton / Davis).
  • One NZL value anchor (Mennenga) for cap balance + upside.
  • Avoid PER / CNS despite form (McGee, Lual-Acuil Jr, Windler) due to single fixtures.
  • Bench enabler: Taine Murray is the only sub-$100k player trending positively.
  • Projected Round 4 total: ≈ 410 points
  • 14 of the top 25 are on double games in Round 4 (ADL, SYD, NZL, MEL).
  • Biggest price risers: Sam Mennenga (+$37.3k), Jo Lual-Acuil Jr (+$43.3k), Jack McVeigh (+$21.1k).
  • Options despite single games: JaVale McGee and Jo Lual-Acuil Jr (elite averages).
  • Projected Round 4 power picks: Bryce Cotton, Kendric Davis, Sam Mennenga, Josh Bannan.

Top Tier — Must-Start Premiums

(Best combination of double games + form + price-to-output ratio)

Bryce Cotton (ADL) — $452,500 │ Avg: 53.5 │ Rd 3: 56

  • Why: Elite scorer in peak form, back-to-back 50+ rounds.
  • Two games this week makes him an automatic captaincy candidate.
  • Plays Tasmania and Sydney — both high-tempo matchups.

Kendric Davis (SYD) — $481,300 │ Avg: 36.0 │ Rd 3: 41

  • Floor general with consistent assist and scoring numbers.
  • Faces Melbourne and Adelaide — both double games.
  • Ideal for a vice-captain slot if you have Cotton as C.

Captaincy Plan

  • Captain: Bryce Cotton (ADL) — high usage in both games.
  • Vice-Captain: Kendric Davis (SYD) — safest double-game guard.
