Sounds like a pretty exciting young core and future for the Australian Boomers as the national team tries to build on its solo Olympic medal from the 2020 Tokyo Games.
Proctor, a rookie with the Cleveland Cavaliers, said representing the green and gold was one of his top priorities and dreams, especially since achieveing his goal of reaching the NBA.
"That's where I want to be and I want to be part of those (Olympic) teams," Proctor said on the latest edition of basketball.com.au podcast Cut to the Jase with Jason Cadee.
"I circled (the next two Olympic Games) as soon as they came out as soon as soon I saw Olympics in LA and especially the one at home (Brisbane in 2032)."
Having already represented the Boomers at the junior and senior level, the 22-year-old from Sydney said it's not something he takes for granted.
"I mean it's something I think a lot of people take for granted playing for their country," he said.
"I think that's a special thing about being Australian, putting on the jersey, not a lot of people get to do that and and are able to represent their country."
If he is selected for Los Angeles 2028, Proctor will be part of an exciting guard rotation, spearheaded by Giddey and Daniels, and which could also incude six-time NBL MVP Bryce Cotton.
Proctor would give Adam Caporn's side another creator with the ball in hands as well as someone who has shown he can knock down big shots from the perimeter and space the floor for the likes of Giddey, Daniels and also big man Jock Landale.
He is someone both Jason Cadee and I had selected in our Boomers team for upcoming major tournaments.
