Australian NCAAW Player Power Rankings: Top 10 Australians in Division I women’s college basketball

There continues to be countless Australian women shining bright in Division I college basketball, from freshmen to seniors, and the task to cut the list down to a top 10 is getting more difficult each week.

With 2025 in the rear-view mirror, the first top 10 of 2026 is upon us.

AUSTRALIAN NCAAW PLAYER POWER RANKINGS

1. Charlise Dunn (Davidson) – SENIOR

Best Performance – 21 points (six triples) and eight rebounds in 34 minutes v NC State

It’s been a busy period for Davidson as the Wildcats chalked up three wins from their past four games, with Charlise Dunn continuing her stellar form. Despite a loss to NC State, Dunn was on fire from deep (6/13 3PT FG) to finish with 21 points and 8 rebounds, while she also recorded a strong double-double against Loyola Chicago with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

2. Hannah Wickstrom (UC Riverside) SOPHOMORE

Best Performance – 36 points, six rebounds, two steals and two assists in 35 minutes v Hawaii

Hannah Wickstrom cannot be stopped. After matching her career-high of 30 points mid-last week against UC Merced, she backed that up a couple of days later to set a new career-high against Hawai’i with 36 points. She forced her way to the free throw line (11/11 FT) in that game and there’s no doubt the sophomore has been one of the big improvers in the Big West Conference. Wickstrom has scored 88 points in her last three games!

3. Lara Somfai (Stanford) FRESHMAN

Best Performance – 18 rebounds and nine points in 24 minutes v Cornell

Lara Somfai is proving herself as a rebounding machine and continues to be the premier freshman in the ACC. Averaging 15 rebounds across her last three games, Somfai has been a force, and set a new Stanford freshman single-game rebounding record with 18 boards against Cornell.

4. Erin Condron (UC San Diego) JUNIOR

Best Performance – 16 points, six rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 32 minutes v North Arizona

Erin Condron has been the definition of consistency for UC San Diego, scoring in double figures in 10 straight games. She is in the midst of a breakout junior season, taking full advantage of increased playing time and has been key to the Tritons winning seven of their past nine games.

5. Bonnie Deas (Arkansas) FRESHMAN

Best Performance – 12 rebounds, seven points and four assists in 29 minutes v Arkansas State

Bonnie Deas continues to make plays for the Razorbacks. In three of her past four games, she’s recorded at least 12 rebounds, and is the leading rebounder among freshman guards in Division I.

6. Mia Jacobs (Oregon) SENIOR

Best Performance – 16 points, six rebounds and four assists in 25 minutes v Northwestern

Oregon gave #6 Michigan all they could handle before heartbreakingly falling in double-OT, and despite fouling out in the first overtime period, Mia Jacobs was a key reason for the Ducks being in the game with 16 points and 5 rebounds. A couple of days later, Oregon returned to the winner’s list with a dominant win over Northwestern, 87-54, and Jacobs did a bit of everything with 16 points (4/5 3PT FG), 6 rebounds and 4 assists.

7. Hilary Fuller (Belmont) SOPHOMORE

Best Performance – 20 points, four assists and three rebounds in 21 minutes v Bradley

Hilary Fuller continues to rise up the rankings, averaging 18.8 points over her past four outings, leading the Bruins to wins in three of those games.

8. Dani Bayes (Boise State) SENIOR

Best Performance – 23 points, three steals and two rebounds in 36 minutes v Grand Canyon

Dani Bayes returns to the top 10 once again, thanks to two efficient games in a row. Shooting over 50% from the field and 40% from deep over her last two games, Bayes scored 16 points against Nevada before recording 23 points against Grand Canyon.

9. Jess Petrie (Nebraska) JUNIOR

Best Performance – 17 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 31 minutes v Iowa

Jess Petrie has been knocking on the door of the top 10 for a number of weeks and makes her debut as we turn over to 2026. The #20 ranked Cornhuskers suffered back-to-back losses, but both were against ranked opponents in USC (#17) and Iowa (#14), and Petrie was instrumental against the Hawkeyes.

Despite a 10-point loss to Iowa, 86-76, scores were tied at 70-70 with just over five minutes to play, highlighting how competitive Nebraska was. For Petrie, she played a season-high 31 minutes and hit a season-high three tiples on her way to 17 points and 5 rebounds.

With a career-high six assists against Cal Poly, Lulu Twidale was at her dangerous best; facilitating for her teammates and as we all know she can, knocking down triples on her way to 19 points (5/11 3PT FG) and 6 assists. After her five triples against Cal Poly, Twidale moved into third all-time in program history for three-pointers made and has plenty of time ahead of her to climb even higher!
