- Game Flow: Utah flipped the game with a decisive third-quarter burst and held Indiana at arm’s length down the stretch.
Indiana stayed competitive early, but Utah’s balance and shot-making took over after halftime. The Jazz poured in 40 points in the third and followed with 35 in the fourth, leaning on efficient scoring across the lineup to close.
Australian wing Johnny Furphy delivered a steady two-way outing for Indiana in 29 minutes, finishing with 14 points, seven rebounds, and six assists on 6-of-11 shooting. Furphy worked effectively off movement and in secondary actions, converting at the rim and keeping possessions alive on the glass. He also facilitated from the wing, finding cutters and shooters as Indiana tried to match Utah’s pace. His +3 plus-minus reflected productive stretches despite the team trailing overall.
Utah’s offense was led by Lauri Markkanen (27 points on 10-of-19 FG) and Ace Bailey (19 points, three steals, three blocks), while Isaiah Collier orchestrated relentlessly with 17 points and 22 assists. Kyle Filipowski controlled the interior with 16 points and 16 rebounds, and Utah’s bench added timely spacing through Brice Sensabaugh (20 points) and Svi Mykhailiuk (18 points, 4-of-6 from three).
For Indiana, Jarace Walker scored 24 points but turned it over eight times as Utah crowded his driving lanes. Kam Jones added 12 points and eight assists, and Quenton Jackson sparked the second unit with 24 points on 9-of-10 shooting, yet Indiana couldn’t string together enough stops as Utah shot 57% from the field.

- Game Flow: Atlanta built separation early behind pace and shot-making, then absorbed Miami’s fourth-quarter push without surrendering control.
Atlanta set the tone early behind a dominant interior and transition performance from Jalen Johnson, who delivered one of the most complete lines of the night. Johnson finished with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists in 36 minutes, shooting 12-of-20 from the field and orchestrating offense both in the open floor and from the elbows. His ability to collapse Miami’s defense created consistent kick-out looks and second-side action.
Australian point guard Dyson Daniels played a connective role within the starting unit. In 22 minutes, Daniels recorded five assists, moving the ball quickly out of advantage, and added a steal while defending across multiple perimeter matchups. His usage stayed low (2 points on 1-of-4 shooting), but his minutes coincided with stable offensive flow as Atlanta maintained tempo and spacing.
The Hawks’ bench was decisive. CJ McCollum provided the scoring punch that broke the game open, pouring in 26 points in 26 minutes, knocking down 6-of-9 from three as Atlanta stretched the floor during its second- and third-quarter runs. Luke Kennard added 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting, all from beyond the arc, while Corey Kispert chipped in 13 points and four rebounds with a +18 plus-minus, keeping pressure on Miami whenever the starters sat.
In the starting backcourt, Nickeil Alexander-Walker logged 19 points and seven assists in 31 minutes, absorbing on-ball creation duties and attacking closeouts as Miami shifted defensive coverage toward Johnson. Zaccharie Risacher contributed on the glass with seven rebounds despite a quiet shooting night, while Christian Koloko provided short rotation minutes up front.
Miami’s response was anchored by Jaime Jaquez Jr., who led the Heat with 21 points and eight rebounds off the bench, though his minutes came largely during Atlanta’s extended lead. Bam Adebayo finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds, drawing fouls (8-of-8 FT) but struggling from the field (4-of-16 FG) as Atlanta crowded the paint. Pelle Larsson added 18 points and five assists, while Miami’s perimeter shooting (8-of-32 from three) ultimately limited any sustained comeback.

- Game Flow: Milwaukee’s explosive first half set a cushion the Bulls couldn’t fully erase despite a third-quarter push.
Australian star Josh Giddey missed another NBA start with hamstring soreness as Milwaukee blew the game open early, piling up 77 first-half points behind efficient shot-making and transition pressure. Kyle Kuzma carried the scoring load with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists on 12-of-22 shooting, consistently punishing switches and pushing pace off defensive rebounds. Ryan Rollins complemented him with a near triple-double line of 21 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds, while AJ Green spaced the floor with 17 points on 5-of-9 from three.
Chicago steadied after halftime, outscoring the Bucks 37–28 in the third as Matas Buzelis (22 points, 5-of-10 from three) and Coby White (21 points, 10 rebounds) found rhythm from the perimeter. Ayo Dosunmu added 17 points and eight assists, keeping the offense moving as the Bulls tried to chip away.
Australian big Lachlan Olbrich delivered a productive bench stint in 16 minutes, posting seven rebounds (two offensive) while staying within role defensively and on the glass. Olbrich took two shots (1-of-2), contested at the rim, and helped Chicago hold serve on the boards during second-unit stretches, even as Milwaukee’s early damage dictated the result.
Milwaukee’s depth finished the job. Jericho Sims controlled the interior off the bench with nine points and nine rebounds in 21 minutes and a game-best +29, while Gary Trent Jr. knocked down five threes for 15 points, reinforcing the Bucks’ decisive spacing edge (23-of-38 from three).
