SuperCoach NBL PODs: Ultimate Round 6 Guide
Four clubs play twice in Round 6, and the Sydney Kings pair who starred in Round 5 lead 14 options.
- All 165 games of the NBL27 season in one list
- Every NBL27 roster, squad list and projected depth chart
- Every injured NBL player, with expected return dates
- Hammer Time: Who is leading the league in dunks
The best SuperCoach NBL Round 6 PODs come from the four clubs playing twice. The Sydney Kings pair at the top of the list already delivered for the coaches who backed them in Round 5.
A POD (point of difference) is a player your head-to-head opponent almost certainly does not own, scoring enough to swing the week. All 14 players in the table below were in fewer than 10 per cent of SuperCoach NBL teams when ownership was polled on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

The Brisbane Bullets, Illawarra Hawks, Melbourne United and Sydney Kings each play twice in a round that runs from Wednesday, October 21 to Sunday, October 25. SuperCoach NBL counts every game a club plays in the round, so their players get two chances to score, and a captain from one of those clubs has his doubled score built on two games rather than one.
Illawarra supplies six of the 14, while Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne all play twice again in Round 7 and Illawarra's next double comes in Round 8.
- Torrey Craig ($290,400) and Andrew Carr ($277,000) lead the list after scoring 75 and 71 across Sydney's Round 5 double. The last time Sydney played Illawarra, on September 27, Craig scored 29 and Carr 26.
- Sydney and Brisbane both play twice in five of the seven rounds from Round 6 to Round 12, the most of any club over that stretch.
- Jaylin Williams ($277,000) is in just 0.7 per cent of teams and has averaged 27.7 across his last three games. Brisbane plays at Tasmania on Wednesday, October 21 and at Illawarra on Saturday, October 24.
- William Hickey ($331,600) is the Illawarra pick in the top five, averaging 24.0 across eight games. After the Round 5 update his price has fallen $70,200 from where it started, the biggest drop of the 14.
- Joe Ingles ($300,000) completes the top five with a 23.6 average and 4.0 assists a game. Melbourne plays at Perth on Friday, October 23 before hosting Sydney on Sunday, October 25.
- Taran Armstrong ($304,700) and Dylan Windler ($271,100) carry the highest averages in the group at 35.9 and 33.2, but Tasmania and Perth play only once each in Round 6.
- Milton Doyle ($274,700), Kelan Martin ($277,000) and Tyler Harvey ($271,700) give Illawarra three mid-price options, all cheaper than they started. Harvey scored 34 against Brisbane on September 25, and Martin scored 28 against Sydney two days later.
- Daniel Grida ($92,300) and Mitch Norton ($160,600) are the cheap options. Grida is the most owned of the 14 at 7.7 per cent on an 11.3 average, and Norton is averaging 10.3 for Brisbane.
- Lamar Patterson ($210,900) and Shea Ili ($175,300) are flagged as traps despite two games each. Patterson's last three games read 16, 28 and 2, and Ili is averaging 8.2 across four games since returning from a hamstring injury.
Brisbane centre Tyrell Harrison ($336,100), in 6.0 per cent of teams, is left out of the table until his ankle is cleared. He left Brisbane's win against South East Melbourne on October 15 in the fourth quarter, and the basketball.com.au injury report carries no timeline for his return.
Ownership moves right up to lockout, so check the table before you trade. Round 6 starts locking at 7.30pm AEDT on Wednesday, October 21, when Tasmania host Brisbane at MyState Bank Arena.
Round 5 POD Analysis
Carlin Davison ($121,600) was the Round 5 POD that paid off, posting the round's top score of 102 across the New Zealand Breakers' double and rising $66,500 in the price update that followed. Below is how all 18 Round 5 PODs performed, to help you decide ahead of Round 6.
The group scored 882 points across 30 games, 29.4 a game and up from 23.7 a game for the Round 4 PODs. Armstrong was next best on 97, followed by Nathan Sobey ($379,600) on 76 and the Sydney pair of Craig and Carr on 75 and 71.
The misses were Charles Bediako ($277,000), with 23 across two games, and Will Johnston ($69,000), with 28 across two. The trap call on Dakota Mathias ($145,200) missed because he scored 42 across Tasmania's double.
Matthew Dellavedova ($221,300) did not play in Round 5, and SuperCoach lists him with a calf injury and an expected return in Round 7.
Davison is now in 10.9 per cent of teams and Nate Hinton ($277,000) in 14.1 per cent, so both have been bought past the 10 per cent line. Neither qualifies as a POD for Round 6.
