Phoenix exploded early with 41 first-quarter points, but Charlotte flipped the game with a 69–46 middle stretch across the second and third quarters to take full control.

Charlotte turned a fast Phoenix start into a decisive home win, overpowering the Suns 127–107 behind balanced scoring and control of the glass.

Miles Bridges led the charge with 25 points on 10-from-16 shooting, while LaMelo Ball orchestrated with 15 points and 11 assists as the Hornets’ offence stabilised after a slow start. Kon Knueppel added 20 points, and Coby White’s 19 off the bench gave Charlotte consistent scoring pressure.

Phoenix had five starters in double figures, led by Jalen Green’s 25 points and Devin Booker’s 22 points and six assists, but couldn’t sustain their first-quarter scoring pace. The Suns shot 46% from the field but were out-rebounded 47–31 and conceded 52% shooting to Charlotte.

The Hornets’ interior presence proved decisive, with Moussa Diabate (10 rebounds) and Ryan Kalkbrenner (four blocks) anchoring both ends during the game-breaking second half.
